LFMS Curriculum

Class curriculum consists of a full range of martial arts training beginning with the learning of stances.  Building from the stance work comes moving with the stance and application of kicks and strikes combined with more complex techniques.  Sparring is practiced from the beginning level to intermediate then advanced.  Integrated with the system is a full spectrum of exercises improving overall strength and health from all parts of the body for optimal conditioning.

Additional

In addition to traditional Kung-Fu the LFMS does offer training in tradition weapons including staff, three section staff, butterfly knives, and hook axe swords. Forms come in two varieties memorized and free form.

Classes

Classes currently are taught at 6 pm on Tuesday nights and Saturday mornings beginning at 11:30 am and have a duration of one and half hours. A school uniform is not required so loose clothing for the work out session will be sufficient. Class structure consists of a bow in for the workout then a warm up consisting of stretching exercises and group drills after which a short break is taken.  After break the class is divided up into groups based up experience level. Class is ended with meditation followed with a group bow out.
